Sketcher and illustrator, Carla Fuentes (Valencia, 1986) is filling up the walls of new art collectors with a precious ugliness through her acrylics, crayons and graphites.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf she was brought up naturally among the oils of \u003cstrong\u003eEquipo Crónica or Eduardo Arroyo, \u003c\/strong\u003ethe new generations are being brought up with her stark landscapes and imperfect portraits. Not in vain has she been one of the few Spanish artists to participate in the \u003cstrong\u003e‘Obey Icon Tour’\u003c\/strong\u003e exhibition organized by the artist Shepard Fairey and is one of the youngest to appear in volume number 5 of \u003cstrong\u003e‘Illustration Now’ of the Taschen publishing \u003c\/strong\u003ehouse, the bi-annual bible of the world of illustration.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA graduate of Fashion Design at EASD and in Fine Arts from the San Carlos University of Valencia, she has created visuals and covers for records for bands and solo artists such as \u003cstrong\u003ePolock, Russian Red, Hewel, Ariel Pink haunted graffiti, Las Robertas, Little Wings, \u003c\/strong\u003eand\u003cstrong\u003e La Habitación Roja, \u003c\/strong\u003eamong others.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eShe has also worked for brands such as \u003cstrong\u003eNike, Kling, Pull\u0026amp;Bear, \u003c\/strong\u003eGandía Blasco, Women’s secret, Bimba\u0026amp;Lola, Myspace, and, recently, for Absolut Mode Society. Sher works have been published in magazines such as \u003cem\u003eEsquire, El País Semanal, Vanidad, Vogue, Naif Magazine, Union Mag \u003c\/em\u003e(Japan),\u003cem\u003e \u003c\/em\u003eand \u003cem\u003eNylon, \u003c\/em\u003eas well as in newspapers like Le Monde (Francia).
